My friend wears a number of houppelandes (or used to) and she loves black roses, so.... in the "style" of the busy necklaces of the era, I made this necklace using the roman chaining method for the black glass beads and the black rose drop is a finding from (believe it or not) a very mundane navel ring. It still looks cool and definitely passes the 5-foot rule.
