Kind of in the mood since it's hovering around zero degrees F here constantly in the North East of the USA.
Anyway, I took the three strand scarf I made here Braided Scarf and decided to make it with a fourth strand. Same idea, just a different weave. I used an I hook and Red Heart Treasures Boutique in Watercolors.

I think instead of making sure that each strand closes upon itself, I would either just sew them into 1 or sew it to whatever "matched". I wore this all day before finally taking a pic - so this is really what it will look like worn.
The diagram I used for braiding. I hung a rope and used clothes pins to hold one end while braiding.
