So, Red Heart is doing this Crochet-a-Long (CAL) for 2014 - they release the patterns every 2 weeks, there's 11 different squares total (10 being granny squares plus 10 "testured" squares). It's called "Checkerboard Textures Throw" and is available here: http://www.redheart.com/blog/join-us-checkerboard-textures-throw-crochet-along

Broke my hook on the "new" yarn. No worries, it was plastic and gives me an excuse to get a nicer new one. The size 5 was discontinued but everyone has size 6. Even though I bought it listed as a size 5 (grrrr). I can tell the difference, Besides being slightly thicker, it's not as soft. Oh well, it's just a couple of squares and I'm NOT starting over!!!

Nope. Looks like we have to wait 2 more weeks for assembly and border instructions. I've already sewn mine together silly people!
