Owl Scarf

This pattern is part of a hat, gloves and scarf set available from Julie Measures.
I used Caron One Pound Deep Violet leftover from the Lumberjack Flannelghan.

The owl patterns are 6.25” each, the scarf center is 96.5” (I like to wrap them around and still have a long tail) for a total of 109”

To go from the 28 to 29 stitches and back I added a removed a stitch from the center of the last row before/at the end of each pattern.

When you get to the second owl pattern, make sure you are starting on the SAME SIDE as your first owl pattern. Row 1 is the front.

I tried a round pearl button first but went with a flat button instead.  Slimline Z121 White 1/2in / 12mm buttons for the eyes. (12 total)
