I also took A Taste of Bead Knitting with Deanna Van Assche in the Market Place (1 hour class). Love these short classes. You can get your feet wet relatively cheaply, they supply almost everything you need to try it and if you don't like it, you haven't invested anything other than 1 hour of your time! I did seem to knit faster than the rest of the class, so by the time she decided that we should do at least 1 more row, I was already casting off. Though I hated threading on all those beads, I am going try this method again.

It just wants to curl. I can see this as a necklace too.
