Hadn't used my drop spindle in a while. Totally screwed up putting the threads neatly up the spindle. Worse, the whorl dropped off and I started to loose a bunch of the fiber.
This was bought as a silk top. This is some weird blend of silk and fake fibers that spun at different numbers of rotation. Sloppy mess to spin.
