So I taught a class at Pennsic on Double Faced Tablet Weaving.
I wanted the class to be hands on, but needed portable looms. So I came up with a harebrained idea...
Make them out of PVC.
I cut the PVC at home so it would fit into my car. I waited until Pennsic to glue them because stinky PVC glue in my tiny apartment just wasn't happening.
So this is what they look like. I made 12. At Pennsic. In that heat. You're welcome.
They actually held up to warping and weaving very well and broke back down to come home should I decide to be so wild as to teach another class.
Wish I'd actually gotten some pics during the calss. Maybe next year. Maybe not :)
