Russian Spun Cord

 I took this class at Pennsic 47 (2018) on "spinning" Russian Cord.  The instructor had a number of examples of the cord used in couching / gold work.  

The instructor showed us how to set up a drill and endpoint in order to "spin" the very thin pieces into a larger cord to be used in couching.

Connecting to the end (utilizing cup hooks in the drill and at the end).

Holding while someone turns on the drill.  The drill moves up the board until the required amount of twist is achievd.
