Tomtenisse

Tomte (Swedish) or Tonttu (Finnish, also called Nisse in Norway) are solitary, mischievous domestic spirits, responsible for the protection and welfare of a farmstead and its buildings.  You can read more about them here.

A nisse (Danish: [ˈnesə] and Norwegian: [²nɪsːɛ]), tomte (Swedish: [²tɔmːtɛ]), tomtenisse, or tonttu (Finnish: [tontːu]) is a mythological creature from Nordic folklore today typically associated with the winter solstice and the Christmas season.

The pattern is called Virkad tometenisse med knorr (with hat) and is by by Skapa och Inreda.  I used a 4.5mm hook with Red Heart Super Saver yarns in red and tan.  I used felt squares and embroidery floss for the details and safety eyes.
