This was my first foray into Brick Stitch. This is based on Richard Wymarc's interpreted pattern Y-021 which is a late medieval possibly Swedish cushion. Original is linen and wool - I used what I had on hand.
Materials: The base is a 14ct Aida 105/8” by 2” bookmark blank.DMC Perle Cotton mercerized thread strand size 5, 2 strands of #996, 666 and 743.

Blue centers done first for spacing. I should've used 2 strands but I'm not redoing it.
Really should've used 2 strands. *sigh* I sent back with a second strand....
One repeat completed. The second strand really looks better.
