Threaded Buttons Class Week 1

I took a four-part class online through The Lace Museum.  Week 1 covered 4-spoke buttons on a button mold.

The first one we did was a Death's Head Button.

The back of the buttons can have this loop or be flat.  They are all fairly messy.

The second button we did was a cross button.  THe mold should have been painted first, but we missed that step.  

The third button was a square wrap button.
