I took a silk banner class in which we made Barony of Dragonship Haven populace banners with Grim and Raven.
We learned to transfer the pattern, outline the areas we were going to paint (or not) with gutta. Once that dried, we painted the area we were filling in, then left it on the stretcher to dry.
