Took a class on making blocks for block printing taught by Dame Fredeburg von Katzenellenbogen of AEthelmearc. We discussed tools, types of wood, and techniques and she showed us many different blocks she had carved. We got to practice on balsa, rubber and paneling. We also discussed mounting.

Working on paneling is tricky and I was doing great and then I wasn't and lost part of the foot. I got too involved in finishing this and never really tried carving the other two pieces.
