I made these fibulae at Pennsic in a class taught by Baroness Gina Dragoni from Ealdormere. These were fun and easy. Even during a hail storm!
My original choice of beads - I decided against the green dangle. The aluminum wire was pre-heated (hardened) for us.
The beads are captured
Starting the second one
Large holed beads on the end were the bane of most of the class
Starting the hook
Twist the end to capture the pin
Baroness Gina used her portable sander to sharpen the ends for us instead of us taking forever with sandpaper
My finished pins.
