Finished this Chicken Thread Stitch-a-Long (SAL) today. I used Sulky Threads because I had them and had always wanted to try them for blackwork. The are 50 weight and even doubled didn't always show up well. Some of the glow-in-the-dark (like the moons) are quadrupled. The black words are done with an old quilting or button thread I had hanging around with no indication as to weight or manufacturer, but it's perfect for this weight Aida which I believe is a 28-count Charles Craft (since the paperwork near it said that, but I could be wrong). The other black items (books, cats) are done with a Gutterman silk Col. 000 because I grabbed it and started using it before I realized it wasn't sewing thread like the others.
